A short comic about a time in the late nineties and early aughts when growing up as a girl in Romania was not easy, to say the least. The 'tradition' of washing girls in the snow was a violent game played by boys with the forced participation of their girl classmates or friends, both in and out of the schoolyards, that was in full bloom when I was growing up, but seems to have faded in the years since.
