Eilin du fond de l'eau is the French edition of the award winning Știma apelor. It is an omnibus, collecting the first two volumes + a lenghty new one. It is written by Maria Surducan and drawn by me. Our publisher is Aventuriers d'ailleurs, the book appeard in France on 20 August 2025.

We've been working on this series since 2015. Sandwiching ten years between two covers is something almost unreal, but this volume feels like a celebration of all the work we've poured into this project over the years. These past months I was aware of how lucky I am to be doing this as a job, even between the dread of not finishing on time and the anxiety surrounding my skills, I did take time to remember that this is what I love doing most.
